1. WHO WE ARE
This Privacy Policy describes how Elivue ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses,
and discloses your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase
from elivue.com (the "Site").

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
(a) Information you give us directly
- Contact form (elivue.com/pages/contact): your name, email address,
phone number, and the content of your message.
- Email sign-up form: your email address.
- Orders and checkout: your name, billing address, shipping address, email
address, phone number, and order contents. Payment card details are entered
into and processed by our payment providers - we never receive or store your
full card number.
- Customer support: any information you choose to include when you contact us
by email.
- Product reviews: if you submit a review, the name and content you provide.
(b) Information we collect automatically
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version, operating
system, device type, screen size, language and region settings.
- Usage data: pages viewed, products viewed, items added to cart, referring
website, search terms entered on the Site, and the date and time of your
visit.
- Session recordings and heatmaps: we use Hotjar to record how visitors move,
click and scroll on our pages, in order to improve the Site. Hotjar
automatically masks keystrokes entered into form fields.
- Advertising identifiers: cookies set by Meta (Facebook/Instagram) that allow
us to measure the performance of our ads and to show you relevant ads.
We do not knowingly collect government ID numbers, financial account numbers,
biometric data, precise geolocation, or any special category data.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and to arrange returns and
refunds.
- To communicate with you about your order, including shipping confirmations
and tracking information.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To send you marketing emails about our products and promotions, where you
have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any
marketing email or by emailing support@elivue.com.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, including analysing how
it is used.
- To measure and improve the performance of our advertising, and to show you
relevant ads on third-party platforms.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and other unlawful activity.
- To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. LEGAL BASES (for visitors in the EEA and the UK)
- Performance of a contract: to process and deliver your orders.
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Site, prevent fraud, and
measure advertising performance.
- Consent: for marketing emails, and for analytics, session recording and
advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to retain transaction records as required by law.
5. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the
following categories of recipients, and only as far as needed:
E-commerce platform
Shopify Inc. - hosts the Site, processes orders, and provides checkout,

Payment processing
Shopify Payments, PayPal, Shop Pay, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay,
depending on the method you choose at checkout. These providers receive the
payment and billing information required to complete your transaction and
handle it under their own privacy policies.
Shipping and logistics
Our fulfilment partners and the carriers that deliver your parcel receive
your name, shipping address, phone number and order contents so they can
complete delivery. Carriers may pass this data to customs authorities where
required for import clearance.

Advertising
Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram) - receives event data such as
page views and purchases through the Meta pixel, so we can measure and
optimise our advertising.

Store applications
LAI Reviews (product reviews), Avada (promotional bars and offers), Kaching
(product bundles), AOV Boost Sales (cart offers). These apps run on the Site
and may receive browsing or cart data in order to function.
Content delivery
Google Fonts and Cloudflare deliver fonts and scripts to your browser and
receive your IP address as a technical necessity.
Legal and safety
We may disclose your information where required by law, court order or a
valid request from a public authority, or to establish, exercise or defend
legal claims, or to enforce our Terms of Service.
Once you leave our Site or are redirected to a third-party website, this Privacy
Policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of
other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We are established in China and our service providers are located in a number of
countries, including the United States, Canada, Ireland and Malta. This means
your personal information will be transferred to, stored in and processed in
countries other than your own, whose data protection laws may differ from those
of your country. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard
Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism offered by the provider.

used by the store apps listed in section 5 to function correctly.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. If you are in a
region where we offer a cookie banner, you can also change your choices there.
US residents can additionally use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer
(elivue.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out) to opt out of the sharing of personal
information for targeted advertising. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will
stop parts of the Site, including checkout, from working.
8. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
- Order and transaction records: retained for as long as required by
applicable tax, accounting and consumer protection law.
- Customer support enquiries: 24 months from your last contact with us.
- Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe, and then only on a
suppression list so we do not contact you again.
- Analytics, session recording and advertising data: for the cookie lifetimes
set out in section 7, and no longer than 12 months in aggregated form.
When we no longer need your personal information, we delete it or irreversibly
anonymise it.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your personal information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing of your information;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- opt out of marketing emails, and of the sale or sharing of personal
information for targeted advertising;
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@elivue.com. We will respond within
30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. If
you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with
your local data protection authority.
10. SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal
information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and
destruction. The Site is served over HTTPS, and payment card data is transmitted
directly to our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers rather than to us. No method
of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely
secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. CHILDREN
The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided
us with personal information, contact us at support@elivue.com and we will delete
it.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our
practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updated version on this page and
change the "Last updated" date above.
